Alternative control SW for dedicated thermal performance chambers with customized UI
Žlebek, Jan ; Veselý, Libor (referee) ; Václavek, Pavel (advisor)
This thesis is oriented on simulating thermal chambers, their SW and HW and improving SW to meet specifications. Testing problematics connected with this thesis is briefly mentioned also. Thermal chambers used here are dedicated to run simulating test procedures for thermostats and similar devices designed to sense temperature and regulate it. Design and realisation of new SW are clarified in latter chapters of this thesis, as well as evaluating functionality and resulting dynamics and accuracy.
Sensor and control system design for temperature chamber
Kalachová, Alena ; Andrš, Ondřej (referee) ; Houška, Pavel (advisor)
Bachelor thesis describes the design of sensors and control temperature chamber with a working range of -20 to 100 ° C for testing the operation of electronics with the required accuracy of ± 2 ° C. As an actuator for heating and cooling chamber was selected Peltier. Suitable temperature and humidity sensors were designed according to requirements.
Verastile Sensor-based Experimental Platform
Tydor, Maximilián ; Ing. Vladimír Hubík, Ph.D. (Saab Czech s.r.o.) (referee) ; Šebesta, Jiří (advisor)
This document deals with issues of testing semiconductor inertial sensors like gyroscopes and accelerometers, but also other sensors like magnetometers, inclinometers and others for aviation navigation purposes where strict requirements cover every system. The goal of this thesis is to create modular test platform for testing wide variety of sensors in different combinations under variable circumstances. The development covers mechanical design, electrical design – hardware and also control algorithm – software.
Small Temperature Test Chamber
Wolfshörndl, Robert ; Punčochář, Josef (referee) ; Šebesta, Jiří (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with the design of a small temperature test chamber. The first chapter is a study of temperature sensors suitable for realization of temperature chambers. The conclusion of this chapter is devoted to digital temperature sensor DS18B20. The second chapter deals with the principles and basic parameters of Peltier cells. In the third chapter design of individual electronic components of the temperature chamber is realized (circuit diagrams and PCBs), including a description of basic features of the microcontroller firmware. The fourth chapter is devoted to a description of the basic properties of the application software and a description of the communication protocol. The last two chapters deal with the construction of the temperature chamber and the results of final functional test.
SW for control of climate tests
Fedor, Denis ; Richter, Miloslav (referee) ; Petyovský, Petr (advisor)
This thesis deals with control of a specific climate chamber used for various climate tests. Therefore its elaboration starts with the identification of properties of this climate chamber and basic design of its control. This is followed by measuring the temperature distribution in its internal space in order to verify the usability of this climate chamber. The thesis also does not omit a description of the communication options between climate chamber and application for control of climate tests. The next part of this thesis concerns the design and implementation of the application for control of climate tests itself. On its output is a report of the performed climate test. In the end this thesis contains the description of program testing in the real operation of the company and other possible improvements of the implemented program.
An Extended Model of a MEMS Gyroscope: Design and Identification
Vágner, Martin ; Sopata,, Milan (referee) ; Tůma, Jiří (referee) ; Beneš, Petr (advisor)
The thesis is aimed on measurement and modeling of MEMS gyroscopes based on input-output characteristics. The first part briefs the state of the art. The second part is dedicated to measurement methodology. Critical points and sources of uncertainty are discussed and evaluated using measurements or simulations. The last part shows key characteristics of MEMS gyroscopes based on the survey of a group of different sensor types. The results have revealed significant influence of supply voltage that causes bias drift of the gyroscope and bias drift of the internal temperature sensor. The error can be comparable to temperature drift; however, this effect is not addressed in the literature. The second observed effect is temperature dependency of angle random walk. In the last part, a general model of a MEMS gyroscope is rewritten to reflect observed effects. Moreover, the structure is selected to be easily extendable and the coefficients are expressed to allow a comparison of nominal parameters of different sensors.
Design Thermally Insulated Chamber and Constant Temperature Regulation of Chamber
Vejnar, Pavel ; Dohnal, Petr (referee) ; Šedivá, Soňa (advisor)
The purpose of thesis is proposes a small temperature chamber with temperature control. The first part is focused on description Peltier cells, the theory of heat transfer and cooling. Next part of thesis is select suitable thermo-box and computes temperature resistance and includes simulation and real measuring. In next step is chamber simulate in program ANSYS and compare with real measuring. At the end is construct electronic control of temperature in thermo-box for constant value with programming program for the PC. The conclusion summarizes the results of the work.
The device for temperature sensors calibration
Tomíček, Pavel ; Novotný, Radovan (referee) ; Levek, Vladimír (advisor)
The goal of this thesis is to design a device that allows calibrating temperature sensors. The device is made of a thermal chamber with Peltier module. Part of this work discusses means of temperature measurement, control and regulation. This work describes design of circuit and PCB. The device can precisely control temperature and temperature profile. It can also automatically calibrate Pt100 and Pt1000 sensors. User can control the device either by interface on the device or from a computer. Temperature range inside the thermal chamber is from 7,5 °C to 115 °C with ±0,10 °C error.
